The Doug McCoy Memorial Masonic Teacher Grant is in honor of the late Worshipful Master of Dacula Lodge #433. Past Master McCoy was very invested in public education and served as a mentor in the GCPS Mentor Program for several years.

In honor of his dedication to service and education, Dacula Lodge has awarded $250 grants to two deserving teachers at Dacula Elementary School over the past several years. In keeping with that tradition, Dacula Masonic Lodge is pleased to award these grants once again in memory of our late Brother.

The requirements are minimal:

1. Currently teaching at Dacula Elementary School for this school year.
2. The grant must be used in support of your classroom/students.
3. Must be nominated by a peer(s) at DES.
4. Include the teacher’s name, grade, and subject being taught.
5. Include a brief paragraph on why this person is deserving of this grant.
